View from the escarpment in the vicinity of the E of the two summits known as El Sombrero in N direction to Pico del Teide (3715 m). This stratovolcano raises from the cauldron Las Cañadas, which most likely formed due to mountain collapses. The rock formation in the lower right portion of the scene is known as Roques de García.
