The slopes heading into the Gepatsch Reservoir are characterized by scarps indicating a system of slow-moving landslides (deep-seated slope deformation) in the metamorphic rocks. The Hochmais Landslide in the right centre represents the most obvious example. The glacierized peak in the left background is the Weißseespitze (3526 m).
