View from the top of the escarpment (Bordeira) down to the caldera of Fogo with one of the lava flows produced during the most recent eruption in 2014/15. It obstructed the road crossing the caldera. The new road was built along the foot of the Bordeira, crossing the terminus of the lava flow.
