Sunset view from a place near Batasia Loop in northern direction. Part of the town of Darjeeling appears in the right portion of the photo, whereas Kangchenjunga (8586 m) can be seen at a distance of 77 km in the left background. This highest mountain of India and third highest in the world forms the border between Sikkim and Nepal. Its name means Five Treasures of Snow, referring to its five summits.
