Upside-down view from Newcastle's Quayside down the River Tyne to the Gateshead Millenium Bridge, opened in 2001. Formerly representing an industrial area in a state of decay, the Quayside has been redeveloped to a modern environment for various types of cultural activities as well as for housing.
