View from the road connecting Saint-Flour and Murat over the estate of Chambeyrac in W direction to the snow-covered remnants of an ancient stratovolcano, which is said to be the largest of Europe. It was active between 13 and 2 million years ago. The highest peak in this mountain range of the Massif Central reaches an elevation of 1855 m.
