Étretat | Falaise d'Aval with Aiguille and Porte d'Aval
View from the top of the Manneporte in northeastern direction to the cliffs of the Falaise d'Aval, consisting mainly of white chalk, but also flintstone. The breaking of waves has created the natural arch of the Porte d'Aval. The 70 m high Aiguille (needle) might be the remnant of another, collapsed arch.
