The small settlement of Mong occupies an an exposed ridge at an elevation just below 4000 m asl. on the way between Namche Bazar and the Gokyo Valley. View in eastern direction across the Imja Khola Valley to Ama Dablam (6812 m, left side) and Kangtega (6782 m, right side).
