View from the Milford Foreshore Walk along Milford Sound in NW direction. Located in Fiordland NP, this steep-sided fiord represents one of the major landmarks of New Zealand. Mitre Peak (left centre, 1683 m) and the glacierized Mt. Pembroke (right background, 2015 m) reflect in a tidal pool.
