Doubtful Sound is a fiord in the SW part of the South Island, in a remote area far away from any settlement, with a high amount of annual rainfall and dense temperate rainforest covering the steep slopes dropping towards the fiord. This image shows the Crooked Arm, one of three large branches of Doubtful Sound.
