Doubtful Sound is a fiord in the SW part of the South Island, in a remote area far away from any settlement, with a high amount of annual rainfall and dense temperate rainforest covering the steep slopes dropping towards the fiord. This photo depicts an island in the outer part of Doubtful Sound.
