View from Downhill Demesne along the 11 km long Benone Strand in E direction. The cliff, running parallel to the beach, is set back from the Ocean and not any more exposed to its erosive forces. This situation might be a result of uplift due to post-glacial rebound. The village of Downhill is shown on the left side.
