This 500 m long truss bridge, crossing the gorge of the Mala rijeka, forms part of the Belgrade-Bar railway. With a clearance below of 198 m, the Mala Rijeka Viaduct was recognized as the highest rail bridge in the World from its completion in 1973 until 2001, when it was surpassed by the Beipan River Shuibai Railway Bridge in China.
