View from the road R-25 at the slope of Lovćen in NW direction over the Bay of Kotor. This complex inlet represents a so-called ria. The valley of the former Bokelj river disintegrated due to tectonic processes and karstification and eventually submerged, leaving behind a system of bays connected by narrow straits. This scene shows the Bay of Tivat on the left side and the Bay of Kotor in the narrow sense on the right side, both of them named after the towns extending along their shorelines.
