Cinque Terre | Rock fall area

WI_e2044_231.jpg

View from Vernazza in SE direction. The rugged and highly scenic coastal area of the Cinque Terre has been declared a national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is not only susceptible to landslide processes, such as this rock fall most likely facilitated by coastal erosion, but also heavily affected by overtourism.
