The Atomium is a 102 m high modernist building in the N part of Bruxelles. Its shape follows that of an iron crystal, magnified 165 billion times. Built as the centrepiece of the Expo 1958, it now serves as a tourist attraction with a museum, an art centre, and a restaurant.
