Location: vicinity of Castell de Colltort. In this area at approx. 800 m asl., evergreen oaks prevail in rather dry and sunny sites such as on S-facing slopes and ridges, whereas deciduous oaks are more common on shady and moist slopes, as shown in the foreground of this scene.
