Pas de la Casa is located on the N side of the main watershed of the Pyrenees at an elevation of roughly 2100 m asl. This highest ski resort of Andorra opened in 1957 and profits from the duty-free status of the country. It attracts visitors not only from nearby Toulouse and Barcelona, but also from the UK and other countries. The peaks in the background are the Pics de Font Negra (2877 m) on the left side on French territory, and Pic Negre d'Envalira (2816 m) on the right side.
