View from Ragazer Blanken along the N escarpment of the Damüls mountains in W direction to Sünser Spitze (2051 m). This cliff displays a fine sequence of Cretaceous limestone layers, which formed at the N shelf of the Tethys ocean. This so-called Helvetic system is common in Switzerland, but only exposed in the very W part of Austria.
