View from the vicinity of Miradouro Sítio do Portão to the centre of Vila do Corvo. Roughly 400 people live in the only settlement of the island of Corvo. They have to travel to other islands for many services. During severe winter storms, when both sea and air traffic are suspended, Corvo is one of the most isolated places of the European Union.
