Numerous waterfalls drain the extremely humid highland of Flores towards the basin of Fajãzinha and the W coast. Some of them collect in the lake Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro, an ensemble that has evolved into an iconic site and gained a high level of popularity among visitors of the island.
