The summit of Generalkogel does not only represent an excellent viewpoint (as of 2023, when there is a large clearing in the forest), but it also hosts a curiosity: a chatelaine of the Plankenwarth Castle, who had been married to a general and inherited its title, was buried here after her death in 1849. The grave is still visible.
