Morning view from the slopes of Hirschkarlgrat in W direction. Periglacial processes have played an important role in landscape evolution: the large tongue-shaped structure at the bottom of Hölltal in the centre of the image is a relict rock glacier. The summits in the background are Höllkogel (2323 m), Geierhaupt (2417 m), and Grieskogel (2328 m).
