Seckau Tauern | Hölltal Rock Glacier and Geierhaupt

WI_at116_808.jpg

Panoramic morning view from the slopes of Hirschkarlgrat in W direction. Periglacial processes have played an important role in landscape evolution: the large tongue-shaped structure at the bottom of Hölltal in the centre of the scene is a relict rock glacier. Höllkogel (2323 m) and Geierhaupt (2417 m) are shown in the background.
