Periglacial processes have played a big role in the geomorphic evolution of the Hölltal: the undulating landscape dominating this scene represents the surface of a relict rock glacier. Summits in the background are from left to right: Höllkogel (2323 m), Geierhaupt (2417 m), and Grieskogel (2328 m).
