Pedestrian road in the centre of Guatapé. The lower parts of this town have been flooded due to filling of the hydropower reservoir of Peñol-Guatapé in the 1970s. However, the lake has also brought new economic opportunities to this town, as it represents a popular leisure destination for the inhabitants of nearby Medellín.
