View from the vicinity of the Metrocable station La Aurora across the Aburrá Valley with the downtown of Medellín (La Candelaria) in SE direction. The slopes of Cerro El Volador, rising from the valley bottom, can be seen in the left portion of the scene. Due to its mild climate all year round, Medellín is known as the city of eternal spring whereas the national capital Bogotá, located at higher elevation, is just called the "fridge".
