Panoramic view from the summit of Pico Grande in W direction to the E face of the Paul da Serra. This highland extends at al elevation of approx. 1400-1500 m asl. and culminates in the Pico Ruivo do Paul (1639 m), which can be seen at the right edge of the highland. The foehn clouds leaking in from the right side indicate a typical meteorological situation in which the island is approached by humid air masses from roughly N direction.
