Panoramic view from Olympiaberg in N direction to the Großer Olympiasee and the Olympiaturm. Venues are from left to right: Olympiastadion, Olympiahalle, and Olympia-Schwimmhalle. The Olympiapark was constructed for the 1972 Summer Olympics, whereas the Olympiaberg dates back to the late 1940s and the 1950s, when it was accumulated from World War II rubble.
