View from the roof terrace of the hotel Park Inn in SW direction over the city centre of Berlin. The 368 m high Berlin TV Tower dominates the scene. Completed in 1969, it was intended to represent a symbol of communist power. The tower still serves as a broadly visible landmark of the city and remains one of the tallest structures in Europe.
