View from the tower of Christiansborg Palace along Holmens Kanal, with the modern building of the central bank of Denmark, in NE direction. The steaming chimneys in the background belong to Amager Bakke, a combined heat power and waste-to-energy plant. It is also known as CopenHill, since it serves as a sports park: the up to 85 m high sloping roof can be used for skiing and hiking, and there is also a large climbing wall.
