Late afternoon view from the Kapellenweg across the Rhone Valley in NW direction. This classic example of a translational landslide, with associated rock fall activity, happened in a quarry at the end of January 2021. A small river was temporarily blocked, leading to a small inundation, and some buildings had to be evacuated temporarily.
