View from Warscheneck (2388 m) down to the limestone rock of Ramesch (2119 m) between Brunnsteiner Kar and Frauenkar. The individual layers of the Triassic limestone of the Dachstein Formation, which has formed in a shallow lagoon at the shelf of the ancient Tethys ocean, are clearly visible and give this part of the Totes Gebirge its particular appearance.
