View from the slopes of the Torcal de Antequera in E direction. This part of the Betic Cordillera consists of a mosaic of different types of mainly sedimentary rocks. The softer sand- and siltstones forming rolling hills are used for agriculture, whereas the harder rocks - mainly limestone - build high ridges and plateaus such as the Pico Cabras.
