View from the summit area of Óshyrna. These sheer cliffs are the scene of frequent landslides such as rock falls and debris flows. The road running along the base of the mountain, connecting Ísafjörður and Bolungarvík, was heavily exposed to those hazards and has therefore been replaced by a tunnel.
