Lviv | House of Scientists

This fine piece of Neo-Baroque architecture, built by the Austrian company Fellner and Helmer, serves as a venue for events and receptions, and also appears in some movies. Its interior design has remained almost unchanged since completion in 1898. The building was used as a casino until 1939 and became the House of Scientists in 1948.
