Brașov | German heritage

Germans played a major role in the history of Brașov (in German: Kronstadt). They immigrated from the 12th century onwards and, around 1850, represented 40 per cent of the population of the town. In the 21st century, it is mainly road names and some traditions reminding of this heritage.
