Mirik Lake with Kangchenjunga

View over Mirik Lake in northern direction to the Kangchenjunga (8586 m) at a distance of 90 km. This highest mountain of India and third highest in the world forms the border between Sikkim and Nepal. Its name means Five Treasures of Snow, referring to its five summits. Kangchenjunga is considered a sacred mountain by the local communities.
