View from Lovers Meet View Point in northeastern direction up the Teesta Valley. The confluence of Teesta River and Rangeet River can be seen in the lower centre of the photograph. Another obvious feature is the landslide area in the left centre. Even though these landslides only became apparent decades after the road running through the scene had been built, some kind of causal relationship between the landslides and the road appears likely.
