View from the N access viaduct of the Tyne Bridge down to the road named Side. The High Level Bridge in the background dates from 1849. It carries railway traffic on its upper deck and road vehicles (though now with restrictions) as well as pedestrians on its lower deck across the River Tyne between Newcastle and Gateshead.
