Lisboa | Ponte Vasco da Gama

View from Passeio do Tejo in Sacavém, passing under Europe's longest bridge at this time (12.3 km in total). Crossing the estuary of Rio Tejo, the Ponte Vasco da Gama was built in the 1990s in order to keep the north-south traffic away from Lisboa and from the congested Ponte 25 de Abril.
