View from the north shore of Rio Tejo in southeastern direction to the Ponte 25 de Abril. This suspension bridge has been carrying road traffic across the estuary since 1966, and railway traffic on an additional lower deck since 1999. Painted in a similar colour to the more famous Golden Gate Bridge, it has a main span of 1013 m.
