View from the Cordillera Negra near Matacoto in E direction. The prominent peaks are Nevado Huascarán (6768 m, left centre) and Nevado Hualcán (6165 m, right centre). The debris cone of Ranrahirca was affected by two catastrophic debris avalanches originating from the N summit of Nevado Huascarán in 1962 and 1970.
