Piran | Tartini Square

The area of Piran's main square was once a dock for fishing boats. Only in 1894 it was converted to a square. Today's design of Tartini Square dates back to the mid of the 20th century. The town hall (left centre) and St. George's Parish Church (centre) appear in the background of the photograph.
